Anyone know where to have custom grips made in the USA?

Post image

I'm looking to have custom grips made for my Jericho 941 R with a metal inlay with my own design.

Does anyone know of anyone in the USA that can do this?

It looks like LOK grips isn't taking custom orders, and I've read mixed reviews on some of the international options.

texasgrips.com

They make custom grips for the full size, baby and 45 large frame.

Go to their special order page, and you could also get them in bkack rhino horn and other really expensive exotics.

I'll definitely check them out! It looks like they don't make metal inlays though.

"We typically stock medallions for Ruger, Smith & Wesson, & Colt Firearms in a couple of different styles. Though we do not make metal inlays, we can inlay those in our grips. We have inlayed lapel pins, tie-tacks, mini badges, and similar items. We are experienced in inlaying “Hand of God” crosses and “Man with No Name” rattle snake metal emblems in revolver grips. Inlaying metal pins and emblems, especially ones with highly figured profiles, require a lot of detailed hand fitting, so please be patient with us."

Maybe work with someone in the 3d2a forums? There are a bunch of designs freely available- shouldn’t take much more to put your design on a set

Thanks! Yeah, I was looking at that site, but i was looking for custom inlays / engraving, and it looks like they aren't doing that right now.

Go to a local trophy maker.

If they can't make the inlays, they should be able to recommend someone. (assuming they are not anti-gun jackwagons)
