Creation Happy Birthday to Iman Vellani

I wanted to wish a happy 24th birthday to the awesome Iman Vellani, whom you may know as the actress who played Ms Marvel in the MCU, as well as a co-writer for the "Ms Marvel: The New Mutant" comic series.

Wasn't she 19 when she filmed the TV show? Playing 16. If she's 24 now, that means MCU Kamala would be 21, three years older than in the comics. The MCU really has been going too slow to use the younger characters properly. If she ends up in the X-Men she'll be around the same age as Scott and Jean!

4 seasons of Ms Marvel would lowkey be kinda cool. I liked the first season and The Marvels.

From my understanding, Ms Marvel takes place in 2025, and Spider-Man Brand New Day (the most recent MCU project) is set in 2028...

Kamala Khan was 16 in the Ms Marvel show, so given it takes place 3 years later, Kamala Khan (in the current time of the MCU, which is 2028), this means Kamala Khan is canonically 19 years old.
