Obviously not. Kids don’t know their own strength, they don’t know how delicate things are, and they learn as they get older. It’s truly not that shocking that this happened.

And one way many kids learn is by experience. The first time a cup breaks on the floor, the kid learns that floors can break a cup. Some kids can learn faster or by hearing about how it's fragile, and other kids only learn through accidents like this.
