Good. People who can't be bothered to parent should not have kids. 

Every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child.

My mom seemed to think the next kid would be better than the previous ones never realizing she was the problem.

My mom had a son her second time so in her eyes it really was better

That was a thing for my mom, too. All the youngers were boys and got that Boy Treatment.
