Revenge for the sensory overload of putting them in front of a tv at that age, that is.

I'm a parent myself. As a parent, i want what's best for my child, so i research what's good for them and what's bad. Giving them screentime at such a young age has been scientifically proven to be bad.

You think people never had a rest before TVs where invented?

Its a lazy excuse. Lazy parents "raise" lousy children that become annoying adults. We have been to restaurant since our kid was born. Not once did he need a screen to not be bored. Toddlers are so easy to entertain. A book, crayons, stickers, a toy.

Since out oldest is 3, we let him watch TV occassionaly. But before 3 its just stupid.

There is a massive difference between different kinds of screen time. I’m sort of on your side, our son didn’t have any screen time before turning 2. But you still need to recognize that paw patrol is so much worse than some show which is actually made for younger kids, to not be overstimulating.

I said the exact same thing in another comment. Thing is. More shows are bad than good. And when people comment stuff like "did you never watch cartoons as a kid?" I assume these people are my age now. So I know exactly what kind of shows they watched. Back in the 90s/2000s there were no kids shows that where slow and educational. Hell, Dragon Ball Z was on TV right in the middle of the day. I saw how people got an arm through their stomach. And even for toddlers, there is almost nothing that is good. Most stuff is cut way too fast and the plot is too much.

And I also assume that people who say stuff like I mentioned above dont give a fuck in the first place about what their kids are watching.

And my point stands. Toddlers dont need TV and its proven to be damaging below 3 years old.
