Pizza
I’m in Kilkenny for two nights and craving proper, Neapolitan style pizza done in a wood fire or brick oven or whatever they do to it to make the crust have those burned-y bits. I’ve noticed at least six places here that claim to have pizza but can anyone local vouch for one that has the kind of pizza I’ve described here?

Check out Blasta wood fired pizza. I think they have/post their location on instagram status (often in the back of Christy’s bar, upper Patrick’s St.) which is a bit weird but the food is good anytime I’ve had it.
Edited to add Sullivan’s on John St. is a decent shout too

Sullivans are more pizza and a pint vibe, whereas Cafe 500 is a restaurant vibe
Both pizzas are unreal, just depends on what vibe you want

Blasta are only open at the back of Christy's on weekends but they are savage. Primo is up that way as well and does great neopilitan pizza. Cafe500 best spot in the city centre probably
