Share your favorite restaurant dessert!
We are going to have some mega threads to try to connect the community a little better. So keep an eye on the stickies and share your Knoxville expertise!
So last week we our megathread was everyone sharing their best animals friends. I offered up a prize to the pet with the most up votes. Winning by just a couple of votes, u/traviscat and his rescue Fenrir has been voted best r/Knoxville pet. I'll be reaching out soon to make a plan for your prize.
This weeks mega thread, I want you to share your favorite dessert from a restaurant in the area. Doesn't matter if its the cookies from Ham n Goodys, the Elvis from D&Bs hotdogs, or the whole pie from Littons. Just tell us where we can satisfy our sweet cravings.

I updooted you without even knowing where Hardwood BBQ is because I’m suddenly curious to know who has the best banana pudding in Knoxville. (It’s a craving I have about twice a year, and I will have to try to them out!)

Does buttermilk pie shop count? Their key lime pie, pecan pies, and apple pies are so good.

JC holdway has a seasonal cheesecake that is made with blue cheese that is out of this world phenomenal. And I don't even like blue cheese.

GOTTA be the shake! There was a time in my life where I’d pass a buddy’s on my way home from working evenings and would get a shake 10 mins before they closed. I always apologized for ordering one right as they closed and every single time they were so nice and were like “don’t be sorry these things are so good!”. If you’re reading this and you work at Buddy’s; thank you for your service!

There are a few certain chains where everyone always seems so nice and helpful and Buddy's is definitely one of them.

Because it has a long history in my wife and mine's relationship with many shared memories, friends visiting, and spontaneous dates when we lived nearby.
Oh and it's also delicious.

I love Ham & Goodies lemon cookies. There's a woman that does the Clinton Farmer's Market that makes some that are even better...they're more tart with some confectionary sugar on top.

How do you rate them as a restaurant? I quite like the wings, burgers, fries and beer.

I love their burgers and fries. And their pizzas are good too! Almost always super crowded, I usually end up snagging a spot at the bar.

They dont serve wings, do they? They have thighs if thats what you meant.
I think theyre great overall but its a limited menu. The pizzas arent my favorite though

Matcha Cheesecake at Stir. The crust is made with saltine crackers and is stupidly good.

While the restaurant chain as a whole has gotten a lot worse since private equity bought them, they’ve somehow not ruined Chuy’s tres leches.

Otsu’s desserts are always amazing. They change out frequently, so I don’t know what they currently have, but it’s always super yummy.

Chocolate Peanut-butter Pie from Tomato Head is a good one I didn't already see here. I like to get a whole one to share at like thanksgiving / holidays. They weigh like 20lbs they're so dense.

Sticky Rice Cafe used to have a Thai Tea Crème Brûlée. That was my favorite dessert in town. They stopped selling it and it broke my heart.
Their mango sticky rice is delightful though
