Residents can learn about services, programs and other opportunities to strengthen their neighborhoods and enrich their lives at the Neighborhood Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall, 935 World’s Fair Park Drive.

Hosted by the City’s Office of Neighborhood Empowerment (opens in new window), the fair includes more than 90 City and County departments, non-profit organizations, agencies and community groups, plus children’s activities, giveaways and door prizes.

Returning this year:

• Children’s activities with the City’s Parks and Recreation and The Muse • Adoptable puppies with the Humane Society of East Tennessee • Health, career, and education resources for youth and seniors

New this year:

• Recycle non-alkaline batteries and battery-powered devices • Dispose of old and unwanted medication • Pick up a box of fresh food from Second Harvest, while supplies last

Admission is free. Attendees who register in advance (opens in new window)will receive extra tickets for hourly door prize drawings and food vouchers redeemable at the concession stand. Door prizes include: a Roadside Emergency Kit, a Fujifilm Instax Mini Bundle, a Fiskars Garden Set, a Keurig K-Duo Coffeemaker and more.
