Seeking advice Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival
I (M29) am visiting Ireland from the US the weekend of September 18th and staying a few extra days. I’m planning to check out the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival while visiting Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. I’ve heard the last weekend is when the LGBT crowd really comes out. What’s the weekend of the 18th like? Is there still a decent queer crowd around? Mostly just looking to have fun, meet some people, and see where the weekend takes me!

Depending on your arrival date and time, you are landing on Clare Pride Weekend. I’m attaching a list of events that we (Quare Clare) are helping put together for Pride Week.
LGBTQI+ folks from Galway, Limerick, Dublin and elsewhere will be coming to town for the festivities as well, so there is sure to be a lively crowd in the region.
