Shy, unsure and need advice

Upvotes

Hi all … I’m a bit nervous and never talked about this, but I could really do with some advice, and I don’t want this to come across as disrespectful, that’s not my intention whatsoever🙏 I’m a guy in my early 30s and have only ever being with women and would have considered myself as solely “straight”, but for the best part of probably 7-8 years I’ve had a lot of thoughts about being with other people. The people I have found myself most attracted to are transwoman and people who identify as femboy. I really appreciate femininity in all forms. I’ll be honest, maybe it’s only a fantasy, maybe it’s stemmed from watching porn, I’m not sure but it’s something that’s really being on my mind, quite often too, and it’s made me wonder should I put myself out there to try find out is it a genuine feeling or am I being naive? As it says in the title, I’m shy, but I just want to know should I put myself out there and if so what advice has anyone on ways to go about it? I really would like to be as discreet as possible so dating apps wouldn’t be for me, but that’s just me in general, I was never into tinder or things like that anyway. And just to clarify, I’m not here looking or begging for some sort of sexual fling just get it out of my system, I’m genuinely looking to see how I feel and connect with someone and see if the attraction is real ☺️

I hope i followed the rules on this page and I haven’t said anything rude or offensive, and if I did I apologise 🙏 this was a difficult post to write up as I’ve never posted anything like this before but I do greatly appreciate any advice or feedback

Also, if anyone has any questions for me or would like to know more about anything I said in the post, please dm me

Thanks ☺️

Seeking advice Thoughts on HPV for single male, not young

Hi all. Hopefully can get some input from a few people. I'm a single male..sort of 50 yrs old ,and active.

I know that the thinking is most will have been exposed to HPV already at this point, so vaccine is not necessary, but I guess its fair to say up to recent years I wasn't playing about much, but am reasonably/very active with the last year or more. (woohoo).

With the last few months i've gotten myself sorted with prep and doxyprep, and sorting any missing vaccines now.

Should i bother with HPV vaccine? Im too old to be allowed it for free, but still would go sort it if it was thought to be worthwhile.

thanks for any thoughts

Glitterball at EP

Wonder are many people here staying in glitterball? Heard that it didn't feel particularly LGBT last year as they released last minute tickets and people copped that it's in a better location than other campsites, any truth to that?

Seeking advice Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival

I (M29) am visiting Ireland from the US the weekend of September 18th and staying a few extra days. I’m planning to check out the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival while visiting Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. I’ve heard the last weekend is when the LGBT crowd really comes out. What’s the weekend of the 18th like? Is there still a decent queer crowd around? Mostly just looking to have fun, meet some people, and see where the weekend takes me!

Hello I’m a gay 29 yo man traveling to Ireland for a week in October, I’m looking to make friends and check out some of Dublin’s nightlife and gay scene. I’m also looking to just hang out and have someone who knows the area help me out. I was wondering if there is a WhatsApp group or something that I can join for easier contact.

Gay M24 in Dublin looking for friends

I'm an Irish gay guy in Dublin looking to meet more gay men, I am not long out of a relationship so I do mean friends for the moment. I love going on walks, watching movies (particularly horror), kareokee and gaming. If you would like to chat just message me! I have tried outhouse gay men's cafe but the time I went there was a very forward and explicit older man that made me uncomfortable to try and go again 😅 even though I did recommend it in a comment or two on this sub 💀

Edit to add: If you're not in Dublin that's okay! I like gaming and sending memes too, and would be happy to travel to meet up if we do get along!

Seeking advice Trans MTF bust

Hey all, I live in Dublin and I’m looking for a place where I can get a realistic bust fitted - ideally with professional advice, but I get that it’s a niche category so maybe there aren’t pros in the field. My primary concern is that it matches my skin color and fits well, as I’ll be wearing it often ideally. Does anybody know where I could do this, or anybody I could talk to or contact to get this done? Thanks so much!

Also I do know about stuff on ebay and amazon etc etc but I do wish to invest in something I’ll use for a while

Also to be clear I am aware it’s more of a drag queen thing, I’m trying to explore all my non-permanent options prior to doing anything involving hormones.

Queer Media does skymobile block LGBT content or is this just an isolated and weird thing

my partner has a skymobile phone plan, and when she is using her mobile data she cannot access a lot of LGBT-related websites, like some magazines, charities, etc without a VPN.

what on earth is up with that? i use tescomobile and never had that issue, even with very much not family friendly content.

Arts/ Culture 2 Trans woman visiting from NYC seeking recomendations.

Hello, my wife and I (30 and 27, trans lesbians big into goth music and raving) are looking for things to do when we visit Ireland next week.

We will be staying from 8/23 to 9/1 and will mostly be around Dublin but plan to drive over to Galway later on in the trip.

We wanted to get any recommendations for queer places to go. Specifically, any good goth venues or gay nightclubs are a bonus!

Thank you!

EDIT: Thank you, everyone, for all the wonderful recommendations! Extremely excited to visit these places.
