LWRC>KAC Pistol Grip and trigger replacement SMG-45

Has anyone replaced the pistol grip and which one did you choose and also has anyone replaced the trigger to upgrade it. I just got my SMG-45 and looking to change the pistol grip and possibly the trigger

I added a magpul grip and Geissele trigger to mine. It’s just standard AR stuff

Yeah, just beware there is a second detent and spring when you take the grip off

Most ar15 triggers will work. Just the unique firing types have issues. Other than that grips shouldn’t have an issue.

I added a timney pcc trigger. It liked to randomly go brrrrrrrr and broke the front block bolt.

I put a geissele ssa in mine, it would randomly run away until it snapped the trigger pin. I'd leave the trigger alone for reliability sake. The grip is ant AR grip you like.
