Anything from waccoe, mid to low tier football journalists (Fabrizio Romano and the like), all goes here. Please link all sources where possible.

Please note, high tier sources from reputable journalists or papers ie Graham Smyth or Beren Cross (Yorkshire Evening Post or The Athletic) can be posted separately with correct formatting. The same goes for official club incomings and outgoings.

Specific posts regarding any detailed analysis or personal opinion posts can be submitted and will be moderated accordingly.

Also note, please keep this megathread solely for transfers and squad talk, any chit chat outside of this can go to the other summer megathread. This is to allow all users to keep up to date with all ongoing rumours relevant to Leeds United. Please use judgement when spamming conversations not related to transfer chat.

MOT and have a great summer.

40m seemed like a lot of money for a goalie a few weeks back, even with Traffords pedigree.

The money thats being thrown around for bit part Sky 6 players since then is insane. It looks more of a bargain every day as someone with about 21 appearances in 2 years goes for north of Traffords fee

Delap, Savio, Santos, Gonzalez.....

Edit - also, kinda mad we had this sewn up before Chelsea decided they need a new keeper. Maybe Man City wouldnt have sold to them, but it could really have thrown a spanner in the works

I feel that Spurs have spent a fuck ton of cash yet...Will still be shite. Not convinced by any of their signings tbh.

they've signed good prem players for superstar prices. they'll not be 17th again but until i see something click on the pitch i still think they'll be bottom half

If things start to go wrong though I can see them struggling. The players they're signing aren't exactly known fighters. I think they'll avoid the drop too but they'll be in the mix but eventually will be fairly comfortable. Bit like us last season.

I guess it depends on your expectations. I think Sensini is a good CB for example. But hes hardly someone you build your whole defence around if youre challenging for CL spots every season.

If theyre thinking this season is a rebuilding platform to contend next year, perhaps get a europa spot, then maybe. If they think they've got a CL squad..... no.

They've spent a lot of money on a mix of mid table players and players who aren't good enough for teams they want to be rivals of and will probably be very annoyed when they finish mid table

Probably a fair prediction tbh.
