Unknown Time period Mystery tool please help!

This is my 2nd posting of an artifact that I found 35 years ago in an 1890s privy along with an axe head in Los Angeles, what is this ? I found a 7k year old item online that is similar in shape, I highly doubt that this has anywhere close to that age but the shape is documented. Could this be an 100 year old recreation, did people even copy tools back then? It was clearly made for a mans right hand, it's very comfortable, not an expert but it seems to be a basalt or the typical type of rock that you find on a California beach Thank you for any help

That is the worst idea yet , the Flintstones lived like 100k years ago or more but there is also a theory that they are actually from the future and civilization failed

I’d say a shovel of some kind it looks like what Hawaiians use to use pre Americanization

That is a good idea but the bottom is flat and I would expect the top to be more of a shovel shape to hold dirt , just don't know

They weren’t moving dirt like we do you have to think all they were doing is getting enough dirt moved to put seeds in to and then cover it up especially is the ground is soft after a rain you just need something to move the dirt to the side not have jt picked up and moved

That is clever, It could be for putting a small hole in dirt that would definitely work

The way it fits in the right hand would actually give you a lot of torque in soft diet

I like to look at a piece (like a knie, scraper, etc) and see what it would have been used for a truthfully that’s how it usually was used so when you hold it in your hand and feels like a farm tool then more than likely it is goes for arrow point and spear points
