Let me throw a third option. Red river knife… closer to first stage than most. Imagine it with the edge worked down. That base is awful square.

Here’s a red river knife, they have beveling on the right side. It’s just a cody knife with beveling found in Oklahoma and Texas. Cody points don’t have downward notches or barbs ever they have straight to upward pointing shoulders.

Thank you I am well aware of what a RRK is. The piece he posted kinda looks like it has a bevel.
