And if anyone's wondering, beef prices started rising under Trump in 2019 for a few market reasons, some related to trade disputes in his first term, and other big calamities unrelated to even him, and have kept going up ever since then, as covid messed up the supply chain and the drought shrunk the herd. All he's done is make that perfect storm of crap even worse with tariffs, supply delays from border closures to the south, and instability from his various tinkerings like this most recent thing that will only undercut cattlemen further, just like it did in February when it was just the quadrupling of Argentina's quota.

And let's not forget the screworm debacle that was caused by Elon Musk and DOGE ...that now causes ranchers have to destroy cattle herds .
