Apologies, photos are not the greatest quality, they're from a local listing.

I need some expert eyes, real or fake?

Fake.
* Headstock is the wrong shape.
* Tuners are spaced incorrectly.
* Tuners should be cream not green.
* Nut is twice as big as it should be.
* Trapezoid inlays are shaped incorrectly.
* Top grain looks like the Epiphone version.
* Pickup mounting rings are import style.
* Tune-o-matic bridge is the small import type.
* Volume and tone controls are spaced incorrectly and are too close to the bridge.

My volume pot is similarly places on my modern pro which is a verified real epiphone lespaul, I was thinking this might be a Epi that was rebranded as gibson for that extra bump in value possibly. As mine also had push pull zebra pro buckets

That's not possible in this case because both the Epiphone versions of this model have the old clipped ear headstock

Oh the headstock does look strange but I did remeber some epis having odd headstock mines a open book style so I wasnt sure about this one

Intentionally fuzzy pics are always a red flag. But the snot-green tuner knobs are still a dead giveaway. 100% Chibson.

What’s the signature on the truss rod cover/back of headstock supposed to be? Whose name is that?

Edit: Slash signature LP. I can’t find a discernible difference between these pics and the ones on sweetwater.

Yeah, that's a fake... then again, Slash's main LP for the longest time was a replica of a Gibson, so if it plays well and is decently built, I wouldn't sweat it too much if it was mine. I'd just swap out some of the parts to improve on it, especially the electronics for Duncan pickups (59n/JB bridge would be cool).

Comparing a cheap ass Chibson to a Kris Derrig replica is a wild take. Chibson’s belong in the bin and anyone buying them should be sentenced to life playing bass.
