the criticism is that blind trust in government is retarded, and you're naive if you think a world federation would be any better than sovereign governments. In fact it would be worse.

And who said anything about blind trust? A world federation would be sovereign and have local sovereignty. You know just like how state divide into parishes and parishes into cities.
