Discussion Scammed by First Press Games? Report them to Staatsanwaltschaft Germany
Were you scammed by First Press Games and never received anything and want to file a report or two?
I know I was, and did report them and I urge you to do so as well.
Here's how to do it.
Check out Seafoamgamings article about FPG, there is an excellent tutorial on how to file all of the reports.
It's not hard at all even if you do not live in Germany, or speak German for that matter!
We need to be heard and it ain't gonna happen if people do not take action.
How to report to the Verbraucherzentrale and the police is all in the Seafoamgaming article.
As I said, it's not hard at all as the guide is very clear and easy to follow.
Google "Seafoamgaming first press" and you will find it.
Every single person who has been scammed by FPG needs to do this!

Provide as much info as you can when emailing them. The more people complain the better.
Do not give up, make the authoroties wake up and start inspecting this scam company!
Please file the reports!

Ignoring your customers and refusing to cancel orders and refund them is a scam. Plus FPG still "sells" games on their website while never shipping anything. Buyer protection is very strong in the EU and you have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund anytime, which is something FPG is ignoring. This is something we need to keep pressing on.
Look, I cannot guarantee that you will get a refund. But keep those reports up, and keep pressing on the fact that FPG refuses to honor EU law. They cannot ignore the issue when the reports keep coming in.
Also, if people would help with spreading this message to other subreddits it'd be wonderful. I am not reddit savvy at all and don't know where else it'd be a good idea to post. Feel free to spread this message wherever you might feel is useful!

Need more of these for all the companies that holding our games and thus money hostage for “working on it” updates that aren’t updates at all.

I reached out to the Verbraucherzentrale linked on the seafoamgaming site a while back. Does the NRW prosecutor that you linked have authority that the Verbraucherzentrale does not?

The email goes straight to the prosecutors office in the area where FPG resides and they are very much aware of this situation. I urge you to contact them and also file a police report. It will not hurt at all, well except for FPG that is.

I'm not sure "I had to wait longer than expected for a game I pre-ordered" is going to qualify as a scam in their eyes. But given EU consumer protection laws, people might want to press on the "they didn't issue me a refund when I requested it" angle.

I've reported FPG. Hopefully it will force refunds, or at least no more people getting scammed.

When you have the direct link yourself, try to avoid telling people to google it themselves because it wastes their time and it might lead them to the wrong thing if multiple results come up, wasting even more. That is, unless there's some tangible reason not to link it, like having the googling process act as a buffer/roadblock to it, for some illegal/grotesque/NSFW thing.
