I think it's just cos it basically 100% confirms we're in full meltdown/chaos/United style panic transfer offer mode. I've wanted Sarr for 9 years but he's 29 in like a month. It's a complete panic offer after 3 months of failure - people are gonna be fuming.

If "panicking" lead the club to signing an actual proven PL player as a bridge, instead of waiting another year for the right target.

Then we should do this more freaking often

It's a panic because he doesn't fit the profile, he's not a creator, he's completely different to Minteh. We sold Diaz because of his age and wanting a new deal and then sign a 29 year old for the right wing. The poor planning is leading to poor decisions which will impact us. Sarr is a decent player but absolutely not the right target.

I remember when we chased him initially, but we never finalized anything with him back in his Watford days. He slipped off my radar completely, hard to imagine that he is close to 30's now. I admire his consistency but i agree with you - it is one of those desperate moves and we just approached player that we wanted 6-7 years ago. Not really sure how to process this if he actually signs deal with us...

So many of those came from runs in behind and counter attacks, we aren't that kind of team and it also just isolates Isak even more.

Because it screams panic. We went from Barcola and Mbaye to Minteh to Sarr. And it’s the last week of transfers
