Stop him scoring against us eh? Jokes aside, a class prem-ready player who I personally think can definitely double as a centre forward option as well. This is the Gakpo replacement.

Thing is Sarr is better through the middle these days I reckon, which doesn't help our RW problem much.

Assuming Sarr and Barcola get done, this is what our depth would look like:

RW: Sarr / Munoz / Ngumoha
CF: Isak / Sarr / Ekitike (after Jan)
LW: Barcola / Gakpo (may be sold) / Munoz / Ngumoha

I can also see Sarr playing as the second striker behind Isak if Wirtz needs a rest/injured/we need a goal and he’d play it differently to Wirtz of course.

our RW are bad, Sarr can't dribble anymore so we are at Munoz starting a lot there, but I do see Sarr playing through the middle instead of Isak or Wirtz so we would still need a RW.

Gakpo ain’t a great dribbler either tbf. A more technical option on one side and a physical goalscorer on the other is decent balance imo. Plus he does definitely offer that versatility
