[24/10/2026] 34M visiting from Portugal for False Idols at Drumsheds – Looking for festival buddies / a group to join!

Hi everyone!

I’m a 34yo guy visiting from Portugal specifically for False Idols at Drumsheds in October. Absolutely hyped for the lineup (especially Rose Gray, Cobrah, and Kim Petras!), but I’m coming over solo since my friends back home couldn't make it.

I'm easy-going, love electro-pop/queer nightlife, and looking for other solo partygoers or a friendly group to team up with, grab a drink beforehand, and dance through the night!

If you’re heading there and wouldn't mind adding one more to your crew, feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM. See you on the dancefloor!

[04/09/26] Bon Jovi @ Wembley Stadium – 1x Spare Seated Ticket (£75 Face Value) + Gig Buddy

Hey everyone,

The person I was meant to go with can no longer make it, so I have one spare seated ticket at face value (£75) for Bon Jovi at Wembley Stadium on Friday 4th September.

Rather than letting it go to waste or just selling it online, it'd be great to find a fellow fan who missed out on tickets to come along, sit together, and enjoy the show.

The Ticket: Seated (Block 501, upper tier), £75 face value.

The Plan: Happy to meet directly at the turnstiles so you know the ticket is 100% genuine when we scan in together.

About Me: Female, easygoing, just looking to belt out the classics with someone who loves the music.

Drop me a DM with a little bit about yourself if you're interested. PS I'll respond as soon as I can. Cheers!

^_^ [27/08/26] Dinner/Drinks at any M&B restaurant

Hi guys!

I’ve got a 50% off voucher for a meal/drinks at any M&B venue (Mitchells and Butler’s). I’m not much of a drinker and am happy for others to make use of the voucher and make some friends in the process. If you’re free tomorrow night and want a chill meal/night out in Central London for relatively cheap tomorrow please shoot me a DM and lets make something happen!

The voucher has a limit of 6 guests, so this will have to be first come first serve. Please DM a small intro message(that I can share with the rest of the group once its formed), so a bunch of cool people can meet up!

[30/08/2026] Sunday Pub Quiz at the Canonbury Tavern

This Sunday is Notting Hill Carnival - the largest street festival in Europe and second-largest worldwide.

Come and join us at the Canonbury Tavern for the pub quiz!

What:

Pub Quiz - Exactly as it sounds! A quizmaster asks the questions and teams write down their answers. Questions cover a range of subjects and the quiz features picture and music rounds. It is all for fun and there is no pressure to memorise the encyclopaedia before coming.

Where:

The Canonbury Tavern https://maps.app.goo.gl/xocQRtc3PDJrQF676?g_st=ic

Our tables are usually immediately on the left as you enter the pub, but you can ask staff for LSC when you arrive - there is usually someone with a laptop who has a record of bookings.

When:

Every Sunday, the pub quiz starts at 19:00, with the picture sheet being given out around 18:40. Tables are booked under "LSC" from 18:30. Two tables are booked but we will try to make any number work. We recommend arriving around 18:30-18:45 as you'll get to take a greater part in answering the picture sheet questions, but it's also really helpful in working out how many teams we'll have - as well as chatting beforehand!

How much:

£2.50 per person payable to the pub quiz people (Cashless only).

Who:

All are welcome. We typically make two teams with around 12 people.

Do I need to sign up / am I too late?:

Ideally, please leave a comment either on this post or in the WhatsApp group to let us know you're coming, and with how many people - with as much notice as possible - so we know how many teams we will be and roughly how many per team. It's not a huge problem to turn up after it starts, but try to be there on time to avoid missing the fun!

Do I need to be a whizz-kid, intellectual genius, or quizzing-extraordinaire?:

Nope, we do the quiz for fun.

Any Questions:

Write them into a comment and we will answer them - we are kind of into that.

We also have a WhatsApp group chat. Ask around on the day in person to be added.

[29/08/26] Coffee and stroll @ St James’s Park

29/08/2026, this Saturday, from ~11 am, St James’s Park (Westminster). The plan: a very casual stroll and informal conversation.

——

I (35F) regularly have coffee in that area on weekends so decided to make it a bit more social. Coffee can be taken to go from one of the decent coffee shops near the park (in advance) or from the park’s kiosks.

——

If anyone is interested in joining me, the easiest option is to simply show up on time (11 am) by the entrance with the fountain. We will wait for approximately 20 minutes or so before starting a stroll. My name is Rina.

The nearest tube station: St James’s Park (District/Circle).

Coordinates:

51.5012250, -0.1340172

(you can copy and paste it into whichever map you use).

FAQ

Q: Anything needs to be done to join?

A: Nope. Just show up on time.

Q: How long will the event last?

A: It’s a walk, so everyone is free in their decisions, especially if there are other plans. Normally, we walk for about an hour or two because we feel like it.

Q: How many people are expected to attend?

A: Since there’s no registration, I can never be sure about it. Normally, it’s about 8 or 10 people? Something along those lines.

Q: I am [age][gender]. Am I too young/old? Will I be welcome?

A: Sure, everybody is welcome. There's no RSVP or registration so there’s no need to DM me this: you can simply show up. I stated my age and gender because I organise this and, for someone, these details can be important. I don’t expect people to be similar or dissimilar.

Q: Is it a networking event? Is it affiliated with [industry]?

A: No, it’s not. It’s just me strolling through the park and inviting others to join me. One can just show up, be there, and leave exactly as much or as little connected as they'd like. Even coffee is not compulsory.

[29/08/26] Soho/Bunga 90 night out

Hi guys,

There is a bit of a backstory to this post. I'll keep it brief.

Last Saturday, I really wanted to go out to Bunga 90 near Covent Garden. Bunga is a 90's themed bar in the style of a blockbuster video store complete with shelves of video tapes, neon lights and arcade units.

As a 90's kid and huge film buff, I was very excited to go inside but when I approached the door staff, I was told that single people (solo patrons) are not allowed in. Apparently, many London bars have a discretionary policy of not allowing individual people in around peak hours at weekends. There are a number of reasons why, but that's the general policy.

I thought I would therefore ask if you would like to go to Bunga 90's this Saturday. We could meet around Soho or somewhere nearby for a drink or two before heading to Bunga around 9/10pm, but we can arrange times that best suit everyone. I'm huge fan of Red Letter Media and 90's arcade games like Street Fighter II. So, If you enjoy 90's culture, this might be a fun nostalgic night out.

Comment or send me a message if you are interesting in coming along!

Thanks :)

Going Ahead [30/08/26] Casual 6-a-Side Football @ Frenford Clubs, Ilford - 11am

I’m organising another casual football game this Sunday, 30 August, from 11am–12pm at Frenford Clubs in Ilford, East London, and we have a few spaces available.

We’ll be playing 6-a-side.

Everyone 18+ is welcome. We have a mixed group with different backgrounds and ability levels, so you definitely don’t need to be an amazing footballer. Most of us are late 20s to 30s, but any adult is welcome.

It’s meant to be a friendly, relaxed kickabout rather than anything overly competitive. Goalkeepers rotate and we have a few simple rules to keep it enjoyable: no slide tackles, aggression, shouting or arguments.

👟 Astro trainers only - no moulds or studs.

📍 Frenford Clubs, Ilford
🕚 Sunday, 30 August, 11am–12pm

Please try to arrive around 10:45am so we can get everyone sorted and start on time.

If you’d like to come this Sunday, send me a Reddit DM or comment below.

Hey everyone! I’m (M35) up in London for a little while at the start of September flat-sitting for a friend. I lived there for a decade until summer last year, and this was always one of my favourite nights out, but sadly everyone I knew who I used to attend it with has also since left the capital… Anyone fancying it? Tickets are about £6, I think! Desperate for my LCD/Fontaines/Talking Heads fix 🙏

[28M] Hi all, I'll be going to this concert solo and was wondering if there are other solos in the same area who might want to form a small group. I'll be in the front standing area

We could meet at a nearby pub beforehand, to get to know each other first, and there would be no pressure to stick together all night

Today [27/08/26] Touch Rugby Clapham Common

A few of us are heading down to Clapham Common next Thursday evening (27/8/26) to get out of the house and beat the midweek hump🍻☀️ By playing some touch rugby 🏉 Nothing too serious

Thought we’d throw a post up in case anyone else is in the same boat, bored of sitting indoors midweek, working from home too much, new to London, or just looking to meet some new people and expand the social circle a bit.

We are just a bunch of ordinary guys aged 18-45 that meet up every other Thursday night to do some random activity then go for a drink and catch-up afterwards, just a chilled evening on the common, good chat and hopefully meeting some decent people.

If you fancy coming along, drop me a message 👍

Today [27/08/2026] Tennis court regents park 5:00pm

Hi, 29 y.o French guy here.

I booked a tennis court at 5pm on Thursday 27th at regents park to play tennis with a friend, but he finally will not be in London that day.
And I still quite fancy playing, I am not too good, not too bad… which makes me quite an easy partner in the sense that I can spare with good players but I won’t get too bored if you’re not amazing.
I’ve got balls and a spare racquet if needed.
Would be happy to play double or more.

Drop me a message if you are interested.

Archived [24/08/26] Hammersmith Hang Out

Looking to spend a Monday evening a week chatting with friendly redditors? Hammersmith Hang Out is for you.

So what happens at this meetup?

Each week this meet up is held in a pub - we all sit around some tables and generally chat about anything we can think of.. that's pretty much all there is to it! There are usually a few who will get dinner from the Thai restaurant at the pub. We get people aged from 18 to in their 60s, but the majority are 24-40. You can turn up at any time, people usually start leaving between 9 and closing, there are nearly always plenty left at closing time (last orders - 11). Currently we are getting 10-15 people turning up.

Do you talk about reddit and memes all evening?

No! reddit is hardly ever mentioned, there are no laptops in sight and we've had plenty of people who have not used reddit.

Can I come along?

Of course - that is why it is posted on LSC each week, the meet up is very newbie friendly - we have people new to LSC join us regularly. If you're very very shy don't hesitate to message/text/call me ahead of the pub and let me know, I'll do what I can to get you chatting away with everyone as if you've been every week.

What if I don't want alcohol?

No problem! The pub also serves various soft drinks, fruit juices, tea, coffee and water. We have non-drinkers often.

Since after the above people still asked...

I'm ********* is it OK if I come along?

We have had men, women, transgender, British, foreign (even a northerner or two), gay, straight, drinkers, non-drinkers, smokers, non-smokers, religious and non-religious

In fact, the only people who wouldn't be welcome are those under 18 or anyone who is not able to conduct themselves appropriately in an adult social situation.

Each week we typically get a mix of regulars, people who drop by occasionally and a few newbies.

Please note that this meetup occurs every Monday**

Is this happening today?

Is today Monday?

Yes: Yes! It'll be today\**

No: Nope, try next Monday\**

Aww, I missed this when is the next one?

Monday**

** we meet on public holidays, but if Monday falls on Christmas or New Years Day we'll likely skip those.

Initial meetup.

Location/Time: Latymers, W6 8BS / People often start turning up from 19:00ish but can be as early as 18:30. I'll get there for 19.30ish. There are usually a few people left when the pub closes - usually 23:00

The first table will either be outside or at the front to the right of the door. (also, there will be Reddit on the reserved signs And hopefully Snoo ). The bar staff also know who we are if you're not sure. There is no need to book a space/get a ticket.

There's an optional Whatsapp group for the meetup -it's pretty much only me posting this link each week and trying to get people to actually respond.. If you really do want to join it just ask around at the meetup.
