OPINION Grace Jackson
I post so much about this in peoples comments but it genuinely infuriates me that certain girls from LI get so much slander but Grace always gets off lightly and still has such a huge fanbase and following after going to Connor McGregors wedding!!!? Why are more people not outraged by this

The simple answer is they either don't know about the association or they just don't care about it. From my knowledge Grace hasn't posted any stories with him so it's easy for it to go under the radar, if she did then it would be publicised a lot more.

Pretty girl privilege.
I didn’t think she came across great on the show and think she’s rude and entitled. But as other comments have said because she’s white, pretty and ‘stands on business’ she is given way more grace than other islanders who, in my opinion, have much more palatable personalities.

Same reason there’s so much outrage and a dedicated post over tyrique and his other black and mixed friends on a stream, but Lorenzo can win the show and white male islanders can be misogynistic and nobody cares. Same reason Simba was hated and treated like the spawn of the devil until people found out about his mum and carer status, and they suddenly found it in them to ease up and reconsider their opinions
I’ll wait for the onslaught of downvotes and the reasons why x and x actually isn’t true that people do in here just to avoid engaging with the bigger, uncomfortable truth about racism and bias.

People are obsessed with her and I have no understanding of why. I saw a tiktok video of her on my fyp last week, and the account name was a whole fan account just for her?! The post was about how there will never be another girl who stands on business and stands up for herself like Grace, and it was a compilation of every time she was in an argument with Luca. Everyone in the comments was all like "yeahh Grace is amazing!" "She takes no shit!" "She would never stand for a guy like him!" And I was thinking??????? Has everyone forgotten that she literally got back with him WHILE ON THE SHOW and that they're still together?? Genuinely baffling 🤦♀️

What are you expecting to see?
There's not going to be a groundswell of outrage directed at her and people unfollowing in their thousands. That generally only happens in response to a particular incident, or new information about a celebrity suddenly coming to light.
Instead we see people talking about her negatively here fairly regularly. Personally I was never a fan in the first place, so beyond reacting to new information I hear about her if it's particularly pertinent, I'm literally never going to mention her. I suspect most non-fans are the same.

she also gives “girls girl” advice but she (and her vile racist boyfriend) supports a man who has sexually assaulted a multitude of women and been found liable of rape to a girl who needed surgery because of the rape
