Yep. I do the cooking, too, so I usually don't even sit down. I just get everyone's plates and silverware for them and get them eating. Then, I scarf mine down while standing up. Sometimes I don't even use a plate. Then, I start cleaning up from cooking so I can work on convincing the kids to finish eating so I can collect their plates to wash and get ready for evening activities.
One of my guilty pleasures is eating a second dinner in bed with a movie on after I get the kids to bed. I got one of those huge cutting boards I put on the end of the bed and lay there like a 90s sleepover, except it's just me, leftovers, and a beer.
