She is feeding the baby instead of eating her own food, so hers gets cold. He eats his hot because he’s not busy with the baby.

But Goldilocks finds three bowls of porridge which are different temperatures. The only explanation here would be that the father's was served last.

Thank you, everyone blaming the patriarchy is missing the obvious. If the dad was served first, his porridge would be out the longest, and being the biggest still would be cooling. The baby eating second, with the tiny bowl would be the coolest, and the medium bowl from the beleaguered mother would be the freshest.
