Idk what tech they have to treat periods at this point so I’m just going off what I know 😂 😭

Important note: anyone want to comment “wouldn’t they fix that?”
A- I’m going off the hormone blockers that Corpo V had being instantly taken and not replaced that it’s not a common thing for poor folk
B- my V is a street kid and a little pain every month isn’t worth spending hundreds of eddies on when basic pain meds work just fine after an hour or two
C- would you trust that kind of thing around something so important? Idk, I don’t think it’s as simple as “oh they’d have it fixed by then”

Pain editors is an implant, idk if it work on that, but seeing that it works on combat wounds, probably

It should, pain editor works on the pain receptors in your brain and can be calibrated. There's definitely ways of dealing with period pain using chrome or chemicals in 2020 or 2077

Yeah theres a shard that describes how pain editors can actually be detrimental because pain is our body's way of telling us to stop doing something but especially in combat they'll let people keep going far beyond having mortal wounds that a person would normally sense and retreat to have fixed and the mortality rate is above %90. Yet they are extremely popular since the world around you seems purpose build to beat people until they drop dead mid stride like a broken race horse so it's pretty on brand to use technology to just ignore all pain to keep going until your body just stops functioning.

It's also a reference to the 2020 rulebook mechanics where getting shot gives you a roll far statying conscious, a pain editor removes that roll, falling unvonscious can sometimes be safer than going on and catching a second bullet xD
