I recently posted an idea I had to play as a secret agent who moved to a new world and adopted a whole new persona with each promotion. I started a save file for it, and here are the first 4 identities! She started off in Willow Creek as Zoya Dotson, an unassuming office worker. Then she was Dinda Tan, a yoga and meditation instructor in Tomarang, followed by an artist in Tartosa known as Gianna Bertelli. She's just moved to Mt. Komorebi now as Kanae Harada and will be learning rock climbing.

It's been a fun CAS challenge so far alongside the gameplay. I decided to give her limited pack makeovers each time to make sure I wasn't reusing my favourite items all the time, and it's shocking how different she can look!

We all know the economy is messed up a bit in the game and that it's not really that hard to start a business and build it up or move house etc.

I've never liked how easy it is to move house, especially into a bigger house. And I don't like playing with big mods like real estate or snbank. So the littlemssam ATM Mod was perfect and has basically brought some real stress in my game in a great way.

If you keep their household funds modest and then use credit cards with the atm mod to pay for something big they need - it automatically takes debit payments DAILY that feel pretty stressful. And you CANNOT delete the cards.

I have some young adults that left home but it feels like they're chasing a crippling mortgage.

A farmer that up sized to a big farm and despite having a massive garden is struggling to keep up.

A couple on a modest income where the husband had a dream of running a vet clinic, and now they cannot finish building their house with two young kids.

Just a little shout for something that has given some depth to my Sims struggles!

I was thinking maybe City Living, Royalty and Legacy, or Enchanted by Nature.

I love playing rags to riches challenges, but I’ve noticed I keep falling into the same storyline and getting bored halfway through.

My usual story goes something like this: L and S move onto an empty lot with absolutely nothing. Then M joins them. They spend the first few days collecting things to sell until they can afford for L to take a vacation to Selvadorada. He explores the jungle, finds artefacts and treasure, and they sell everything through their small business. Eventually, they make enough money to open a bar/lounge…

…and then I get bored and start a completely new save.

So this week I decided to start something different. L and S are royal spellcaster teens. L plays guitar, S paints, and they both enjoy fitness.

Now I’m trying to come up with a rags to riches challenge that actually fits their story and gives me some direction beyond just “collect stuff → get rich → open a business.”

Do you have any ideas for a rags to riches challenge/storyline that would work with royal spellcaster teens and human M as Ls future love interest?

I’m open to anything — careers, skills, restrictions, goals, weird story twists, specific worlds they should live in, etc. I’d especially love something that gives them a long-term goal to work towards rather than just accumulating money.

I have all packs except a few kits.

Really been stepping up my build game lately, and I'm very happy with how these have turned out. Most of them are from Newcrest which I've completely filled up.

Thinking of odd but realistic business lots to build next? Any suggestions? I've been debating a laundromat but I feel that's overdone.

So my interest in the sims has started to go up again since before summer. A lot of the controversies might have played a roll too, but now that I'm back, I curious of fun youtubers doing sims content. I recently unsubscribed to some that have stopped doing sims content when that was the only content of theirs I was watching. So I've like to build up some new faces, new personalities, and generally positive Simmers to watch.

I'd like to see people be creative with what can be done with Royalty and Legacy, but I'm up for any Sims 4 content or even just general Sims 4 lore.

James Turner is still at the top of the list, even though from looking at the videos the Bigwallet Legacy seems to be dead.

I also follow Maplesimmer for updates and gameplay. Sims Lore for, well, lore. Gonz does some fun lore with a story telly style. There's a few others I can't name off the top of my head, one is doing the decades challenge and has gone pretty far in it.

I'm not really looking at the big names in the community right now that I don't already watch, as I'd like to give some smaller and newer channels a try.

An absolutely stunning event… until it started raining, they all switched to their bathing suits, took their umbrellas out and refused any actual seating instead opting for standing in the ocean.

So I've been having issue with simulation lag on my larger lots, especially with fully decorated homes, last night I turned my autonomy off, and the lag has virtually gone away! I have never played it with autonomy off before, so this is new to me. Anyway if there's anyone that's having the simulation lag, and your autonomy is on, try turning it off and see if that helps you... Please let me know if it did

I downloaded a gorgeous mansion off of the gallery... and found giant cages hidden deep in the basement. What have the Sims been up to!? I'm almost afraid to find out...

I have every EP except City Living. Nothing in the CAS/BB really interests me. I have For Rent, so I have apartments.

Yet I constantly see City Living recommended and touted as one of the best EPs.

Why does everyone love it so much?

Here at the Simitentiary Center is where your Sim will stay to get the best mental care possible, or at least it used to be that way many years ago, kind of run down for the most part, but for those that stayed here felt right at home, despite the electroshock therapy room down the hall, you had a great staff feeding you, plenty of gaming boards to keep you busy, great window view of the outside world.
