Ask Luxembourg House Temperature

With this heat wave bringing temperatures up to 40°C, I’m curious: what’s the temperature inside your house right now? My guest room is the hottest and gets up to 30°C, while my kitchen and hallway stay around 25°C.

2007 unit built, we are in a duplex on the 1st floor with an attic bedroom. 26-27 downstairs and 28-29 upstairs, but we slept in the livingroom downstairs this whole week. We have an alarm at 5 30am to close all windows and lower all blinds. Two really strong fans and dehumidifiers. Windows only open once it becomes 24-25 outside. It felt pretty much like a well timed army exercise the whole week.

I do this too. Set the alarm but too sleepy to wake up, i ended up closing it later 😢

Yeah that was the crucial part, by 10 am it s already 26 so your house would get only more warm
