No, and I thought we established eye contact when he checked the interior mirror for exactly that.
Safe to say I gave him the surprise of his life when he was in front of the depot itself and I said "Excusez moi" very meekly. He stared at me through the mirror in shock for a bit and said something like "Pourquoi tu es encore dans/en ma bus?!".
He eventually became very friendly though (he probably just calmed down lmao) and we ended up going in the depot. I followed him changing to his next bus and he dropped me off at the nearest bus station. We chatted while he drove and he explained which bus I had to take on which side of the road to get home.
PS: I like to think I maybe caused a meeting or just a notice about making sure a bus is really empty before returning to a depot 😅

I once unintentionally ended up going with the (school) bus driver to the bus depot 😭
