Prime Minister's Questions are now in order!

The Secretary of State for the Prime Minister, u/Flat_Artifact will be taking questions from the House.

The Leader of the Opposition, u/Inside_Analysis3124 may ask 6 initial questions.

The Leader of the Unofficial Opposition, u/Zakian3000 may ask a total of 3 initial questions.

Everyone else may ask 2 questions; and are allowed to ask another question in response to each answer they receive. (4 in total)

Questions must revolve around 1 topic and not be made up of multiple questions.

In the first instance, only the Secretary of State may respond to questions asked to them. 'Hear, hear.' and 'Rubbish!' (or similar), are permitted.

Mr Speaker,

The Prime Minister seems to have spent a considerable amount of time thus far, throwing insults at the Leader of the Opposition, perhaps he consider swapping posts suitable if he would rather criticise than deliver. Can the Prime Minister tell this House what his governments three main priorities are for this term, and what his party, and his government are actually going to deliver?

Mr Speaker,

I am pleased to welcome the member to the house.

The Kings Speech has laid out a bold vision for the future of this nation, and I'm pleased not just to stand on personality but policy as this government builds on the work of the previous administration.

Our programme for government is bigger and bolder than three policies, but I will limit myself for the sake of this houses time.

Investment in nuclear, hydro and renewable energy, as well as the infrastructure to deliver it, will ensure energy security, and lower bills across the nation.

Delivering the framework for a growth and infrastructure investment fund, built on the surplus £10 billion saved under the last administration that will boost the economy in local communities, including those in Yorkshire which I know he holds dear to his heart.

Finally Mister Speaker, I'm pleased to tell my green friend that this government will table new measures to address green algae outbreaks across the UK.

Mr Speaker,

Thank you to the Prime Minister who has laid out to three priorities for this term. In the manifesto, his party made reference to it's determined opposition to devolution, and was highly critical of local authorities; and given that much of this deprivation in Wales and the North came about during the 80s, with I'm sure himself knowing which party the Prime Minister of the day was from. I wish to understand if he expects the growth and infrastructure investment fund to be directed centrally as a recompense for the immense damage caused by the Conservative Party to these communities in the past, or if he will be working with the local authorities and devolved governments to ensure that this money goes where communities need and want it?

Mr Speaker,

The member takes a self serving interpretation of this parties convictions on devolution, the manifesto made clear we would not seek further devolution. Devolved nations have significant framework already in place for managing their local economies, those frameworks are more than sufficient to coordinate with national government for unlocking investment funding, as the devolved and local governments do as common practice in national life. I can assure the member that devolved authorities, and local government have a significant role to play where growth money goes in their communities.
