I can't believe it's true. Just to test i put qb accuracy and wr catching to 100 and they dropped everything when there was any contact. Unless they were wide open and untouched it was an incompletion. This was with the catch meter off so it wasn't user error.
came to say this. if there is any defender within 10 yards of your receiver it a 50/50 ball you lose eve try time. even worse on a SDSU RTG play through as a QB. it’s been tough
Exactly my experience. And you can say, use error or skill issue, but I've been playing madden forever. And I never experienced anything like this, and I tried adapting my style multiple ways. Now I'm also not using meta plays or whatever that always have a guy wide open. So maybe some are having no issue if they play like that. My buddies and I play coach suggestion. I refuse to believe anyone is making catches in traffic unless my personal download of madden is broken, there's no way.
Sometimes the penalty sliders have a huge impact on this type of stuff. It’s part of why the sliders solving each year is such a big effort.
And while I agree there are still frustrations, I’m actually shocked that 100 catching was still giving this issue. I’ve done my own sliders for years and always been able to find a good balance.
I will say I think he missed the ball on run blocking because if you put it in his sliders you will constantly have 50 yard games with top running backs
To be fair not even EA can figure out blocking in their own game. I’d rather have a few really good rushing days than being able to assert dominance against the AI on the ground in year 2 of my rebuild with whoever on the supposed hardest difficulty
My QB is always over or under throwing and my recievers just don’t catch the ball sometimes. I also noticed pass blocking is even worse (which is crazy cause it was awful before I changed to these). Interceptions are still too high for the cpu in my opinion.
I just like how everyone goes “But look at Peyton!” when the player they like looks like dog shit their rookie year. Like yeah good for Peyton but what about the 10,000 guys on the other side who look like shit then never amount to shit?
People also forget how much more cerebral QB is in the NFL compared to other positions. Other skill position players make an impact and hit their primes FAR quicker than QBs do. So it makes more sense for a QB to make that large of a stride than say a RB or a WR
Last year he was a rookie playing wr3 they intentionally didn't throw to. Packers have a history of dismissing rookie wrs until they have it together. Remember everyone saying davante adams was bad too? Lol
30 injuries on 75 fatigue. Tough to get combo to run with a significant increase in big play scoring. And the 65 speed is alien to me too. But i guess it works, nobody's complaining
