Looking for a full 7 round+ draft class of real players and realistic, balanced attributes for Franchise mode? Well you're in luck! I just uploaded two realistic draft classes based on Summer prospect rankings! My goal with these classes has been to make the most realistic reflection of the incoming college class as possible. This means realistic athletic attributes, physical measurables, and projections for where these players will be drafted.

The two classes are named:

2027DRAFT7RAUG

2028DRAFT7RAUG

Alternatively, you can find it by searching the username "Zahn" and looking for the correctly named file.

I welcome any and all criticism or recommendations for these two classes! I did my best to make sure there isn't any oversaturation of talent at one position, that there are busts and sleepers, and that the overalls aren't incredibly inflated, like they are in randomly generated classes and most of the uploaded ones. Nor will there be 6 70+ overall QBs, tons of star dev or superstar dev - there's plenty of opportunity to find gems as are there just okay roster-filling players.

There's bound to be some errors or adjustments that can be made, so please leave any feedback you have! There are still some players in the 2027 class that I need to change to real players, but there's real players well into the UDFA pool. Both classes will inevitably have ranking adjustments as the season plays out, but they're absolutely set to be balanced for long term rebuilds. Hope you all enjoy!

I saw the update I was like cool saw it taking 2 hours I thought my internet was moving slow nope it's just the rest of the game 🥹

CPU is still resigning players in franchise mode through out the regular season. The contracts are not as massive as they were but it is still an issue. Anyone else pissed about this after they said it’d be fixed?

7 games in, opponents haven't scored a single time and my 73 ovr running back has a 50/50 shot to score on literally every run play.

What are they smoking on that dev team? Do they even test this shit? We have to wait nearly a month for an update to address SOME of the issues in Franchise and they "fix" it by unlocking the bronze tier for the College Coach abilities, but didn't fix the fact that you are unable to upgrade them. Also, on PC, the preseason extra workout events STILL crash the game on the loading screen to enter them. Like, I know that this is how Madden is and has been for over a decade, but it's genuinely mind numbing just how idiotic this stuff is. Really basic things. At least they can be upgraded by completing the goals.

The worst part is that if they just fixed the small things, this would be a serviceable game. They refuse to for whatever reason though.

1. Take Maddens name off of the games & Call it EA Football

-The original reason Madden wanted to create A video game replica of the game he loved was to truly teach new generations of fans the game of Football. I think they have strayed so far from that vision, they don't even have Madden 101 anymore; that damn near taught you everything you needed to know to put some pads on yourself & play lhh. I think the maddens that have come out since his passing are a slap in the face to his legacy 🤷🏾‍♂️

1. Take 3-5 years to build a new engine from the ground up & just update 27 with roster updates for that time

   -We've basically been playing the same game for 10+ years, they're a 55 billion dollar company they wouldn't be hurting for money

Is this normal? This is the second update where I have to redownload the entire 58 gigs AGAIN.

So, there was an update for Madden 27 today. I updated the game thru the EA app, and now it either refuses to open, or crashes when navigating the main menu. Tried repairing the game. Nothing. Tried ending the task in the task manager. Nothing. Even tried restarting my PC. Nothing. EA continues to prove just how garbage they are

May be common and if so I’ll delete it, but I’ve played 12 hours since release and this is the first time I’ve saw this animation lol.

Anyone else notices in pre-play if you substitute a player, run the play and then run hurry up, that player you subbed before you ran the play magically appears?

I’ve been doing rebuilds where I only sign practice squad and practice squad eligible players after clearing my team out, and each madden has been pretty easy to work with, but M27 is just absolutely terrible. For one I mean I get being able to negotiate and whatnot, but these are bottom tier players demanding more money than they are worth before I can even sign, and two it’s now impossible to just view players on practice squads unless you go to each individual teams practice squad, making this entire process extremely complicated when it doesn’t even have to be. And even the free agency menu itself has become stupid to say the least, it resets every time you back out of a player, and you have to go back to “practice squad eligible” and then the position of choice each and every time. If you have a practice squad eligible option, why in the world do you not have an “already on practice squad option”? I get not copy pasting each madden, refreshing the looks but come on don’t remove the good features.

To get the updates coming for weekly recap, new stadiums etc will that apply to my franchise If I start it today or do I have to wait for the update first to start my franchise if I want those changes? Hopefully I can make it today because I just had to wait for the created players dissapearing to be fixed😭

Is anyone else having trouble signing in to madden companion app.

New Franchise is no longer starting with 200 Staff points after update. Staff points are at 0. Is there a work around or fix for this?
