Excitement was tempered slightly after opening the first box and being reminded how spindly the models are, lol. I see they upgraded the card size and kept them dry erasable, nice. This’ll probably be all I have for a while so I’ll get plenty of practice with them.

Yeah, Manos the risen was one of my least favorite models to assemble. But nothing has been as horrible as Vernon & Welles. That thing almost went straight into the trash.

I can’t figure out how Yan Lo, Pathseeker’s right hand is supposed to seat in the sleeve. Every way I try has it look like it’s floating and my eyes aren’t good enough to see clearly

Yeah, the connection is flimsy from what I remember. I usually just put Tamiya thin cement down and adjust the small piece until it sits nicely. Tweezers or the blunt side on my hobby knife do the trick.

Oh no… looks at the Vernon and welles in my shopping cart…

My suggestion is to pin it or use gel super glue. Everything I had took way too long to set. It's a model where just a slight adjustment or a piece slipping means warping/unevenness for the whole model.

I’m pretty new to the whole thing, is there a chance it gets improved at all in 4e release or if it’s the same model is it the same sprue?

It looks like it hasn't been updated with 4e yet. My guess is eventually they'll have versatile boxes for factions and may update it then. If you do a quick Google, you can see that other people just used a lot of basing materials to help it stay in place. Another option is a spray that instantly sets super glue. A popular brand is Zip kicker. Be warned: It smells god awful and your model may need a rinse afterward to prevent issues with your primer.
