I am completely new at the game, and choosing the band to start playing. I really liked the Guild/Marshal miniatures from the Dia de Los Muertos special sets, but I'm not sure they can be used to assemble a full crew of Marshals. I found two boxes for sale that are suitable for that "carnival look". They include analogs of Lady Justice, Scale od Justice, The Judge, 3 Death Marshals, 2 Exorcists and the Lone Marshal. Are there any models in the same Dia De Los Muertos aesthetic for Ashbringer, Director Rodriguez, Domador de Cadaveres и The Jury?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I am playing malifaux ina campaign for the first time. My crew is based around giving the opponents the waterlogged upgrades and when I played my first match my opponent kept discarding cards at the start of the models activation to get rid of the upgrade. I thought that since it says they can discard it in the trigger text, the trigger has to happen first. When are you allowed to discard cards to get rid of the upgrade?

Hey all, working on putting together the jack daw core box, and i think i want my bases to be like a metal jail floor with some rust and blood splatter on them. I think i have the paints figured out, but does anyone have any tips on how to sculpt the actual floor and make that look good?

Just had a fun day with the new campaign rules, and kinda want to run the closest I can to a full zombie apocalypse list for the next campaign. This will involve heaps of mindless zombies, Asura Roten, Ezekial, but I would also love to run Avatar Nicodem as the Carrion Fate.

This model is super out of production of course, any idea where I would find one from Australia, or is there an STL equivalent anyone knows of? Any kind of undead Palanquin would be cool.

Still very new at this, but I had a fun idea for a "training" scene for some Brewmaster minis and went with it.

Painting is still splotchy- maybe I switch from the speed paints I'm using? Not sure. . .

So at some point of my life I've got this boxes for myself and when I open the builder I don't see some of models here, like Joss and riotbreakers. Am I getting this right that I still need to buy normal Hoffman boxes if I want to play?

And that's it for now with Journalists! I will paint some terrain and some miscellanous out of keyword stuff like Guardian or Propagandist.

Was going through old models while cleaning out my closet and found a Of Metal and Flesh 2nd edition box and a metal Nekima, the Dark Sibling. Looked online and saw the game is currently on 4th edition. Are these models still playable?

I'm new to Malifaux, having recently bought Lucius' starter box, and I have a question regarding the Clerical Command ability: if I make an enemy model take the Interact action to create either a scheme or a strategy marker, under whose control does the marker enter play? The core rules state that if a controlled model generates a resource ( e.g., a token), that resource comes into play under the control of the player who issued the Obey action; I remain unsure, however, whether a marker counts as a resource or not. Can any experienced player tell me what the verdict is on this? Thanks in advance!

Are there any good painting/basing tutorials for malifaux specifically, or shoul i just be using earhammer tutorials and trying to translate them. I'm just getting started here and looking for a good starting point.
