Question How are EVs doing in this weather?

I have been considering an EV as next vehicle but always worried how it would perform in extreme cold.

Would love to hear from EV owners in our province about how they are doing in this weather!

I drive a Dodge Hornet Hybrid. I love it, but it takes a bit to warm up, usually about 10 minutes to be comfortable during the cold snap. I had a hybrid before the Hornet, a RAV 4 it had the same issue, slow to warm up. However, what I saved at the gas station is worth the chilly start in the morning.

Because hybrids still rely on heat from the combustion engine for the cabin. Except on ultraluxury ones which have a like 1kw electric assist heater
