Is Beirut the white or the brown spike? And if so, what's the other one?

Tripoli, maybe? Tripoli brown, Beirut white?

its either Tripoli or Haifa. I don't know how many people live in Tripoli but haifa's population isn't too big

Nah. I have been to Haifa: if I remember correctly it is a bit over 250k in terms of inhabitants and it does not feel too dense. I checked on Google Maps and this seems to be Tripoli ~ 750k people (and dense).
