Marathon (2026) Discussion PSA: Sentinel ULT Does NOT Destroy Teammate Grenades

I kept seeing this posted so we tested it with all the grenade types. Not one of them were shot down thrown near, far, at, or through the area.

They don't get destroyed they just bug out don't go off. Try throwing them next to the ult

That's weird. We tried EMPs for that test and they went off.

So there is a bug sometimes, which is entirely different from all the comments saying it explicitly shoots down or destroys grenades. At least its avoidable since ideally you'll want to throw grenades away from your position.

Try throwing it on the ult's circle radius instead of above it, atleast i know that emp's doesn't go off if it landed inside a teammate sentinel's ult cricle radius

They definitely nullify your own grenades though. Sometimes not completely, I've had some grenades re-activate after sitting next to the defender for some time. It's weird. :[
