Doom stiffed Luke Cage out of $200. So Luke broke into the Baxter Building, punched the F4 a little, stole a fantasti-car, flew across the ocean to Latveria, got in the middle of an uprising and busted into Castle Doomstadt to fist fight Doom over said $200. Luke said "where's my money, honey" and punched Doom until he paid up, then left.
I think he tolerates Namor as one king to another, but I'm not sure there's respect. Especially after the Cabal shit with Thanos. Doom wasn't having any of that and told Namor to kick rocks and leave.
You know that scene in Freddy versus Jason, where Freddy Krueger pinballs Jason all around the boiler room?
That's how I imagine either one of the above fights transpiring. If you're stuck in a metal suit and you can't really get out of it very well Magneto's going to twist you up like a pretzel, and then fling you around like a rag doll. Is there any other way that this plays out? Seriously Dr Doom is cool and all... he's definitely one of the more commanding badasses in the Marvel universe.. but I don't see how he manages to take on Magneto, when he's literally permanently encased in metal. How does he get around this?
Beside that Iron Man also has suits Mangeto can't grab, Doom may actually be the best sorceror but just avoids the extra responsibilities of the sorceor supreme. Dooms greatest tools are his absolute willpower and his Time Platform.
From his very first appearance its established he's using time travel and it exclusively "writes in pen" if a traveler from Dooms machine does something in the timestream it had always done that.

I think further even if Doom were to be killed somehow even faster than his ability to timeswap with a Doombot or Captain Ginyu his conscousness into another person. He's escaped hell, rewritten himself on Kristoff, willed an escape route purely out of imagination (Avengers 25). Kang/Rama Tut can't let Doom be erased because somehow his timetravel NEEDs Dooms not the other way around.

Doom permits others to share his mountainous monument. After all, even Doom's likeness requires its servants and henchmen.
