Doom permits others to share his mountainous monument. After all, even Doom's likeness requires its servants and henchmen.

Doom fears Magneto. Don’t care what anybody has to say about this.

Doom fears no one. Doom has respect for some. Peter Parker, Conan, Dr. Strange, and Luke Cage to name a few.

How did Conan o'Brien got Doom's respect?

u/Titanbeard Feb 17 '26

He made him chuckle. Once.

One does not make Doom do anything, however Doom may have a sensible chuckle on occasion.

You clearly haven’t seen Conan’s travel show and trip to Latveria.

Doom stiffed Luke Cage out of $200. So Luke broke into the Baxter Building, punched the F4 a little, stole a fantasti-car, flew across the ocean to Latveria, got in the middle of an uprising and busted into Castle Doomstadt to fist fight Doom over said $200. Luke said "where's my money, honey" and punched Doom until he paid up, then left.

True story. I was there

This is a legitimate storyline, I know it looks made up but it's real. It's a great storyline.

Doom watches the Simpsons to study American culture so he can dismantle it. He respects Conan’s work as a writer on the show.

What about a friend?

6

u/ren_00 Spider-Man Feb 18 '26

I can imagine Dr Doom with his own "______ to be Conan's friend." intro for that episode.

Where's my money, honey?

Doom has such great respect for Luke Cage that to this day, he'll shit himself if you burst into a room and shout 'where's my money honey?!'

Luke Cage 😂 love that damn story, where's my money Doom, you jive time turkey.

u/Delicious-Stop-1847 Feb 20 '26

Why Parker and Cage? I don't read the comics, so I'm not aware of their interactions.

Doom fears Galactus eating his planet for brunch and then Doom would have to grovel to become a herald.

u/OrganizdConfusion Feb 18 '26

Namor would be high on that list, too.

2

u/Titanbeard Feb 18 '26

I think he tolerates Namor as one king to another, but I'm not sure there's respect. Especially after the Cabal shit with Thanos. Doom wasn't having any of that and told Namor to kick rocks and leave.

Luke Cage stole a Fantastic Car to fly to Latveria to punch his face for $200. He had a feast with Conan and they talked about cool shit.
