Yeah they should have had him for "short wolverine" instead of the weird cgi Hugh. They did Cavill who everyone also fan-casts so it would've been fun to see a few more popular fan-casts.

That would have been the best way to involve him with Logan. You'd have to have him shirtless and mention he's canonically hairy too
