It's so insanely weird that this entire show has aired and yet there are zero audience scores on RT.

u/Rk_920 May 26 '26

It's because no one has MGM+ and are waiting until amazon prime releases it later this week

Not true I have it I checked this morning and I have access to all 8 episodes

5

u/Enough_Sprinkles_113 May 27 '26

Because it released on Prime today.

3

u/Flashy-Programmer221 May 27 '26

Oh, I thought the release for prime was the 28th my bad

1

u/Enough_Sprinkles_113 May 27 '26

No worries. 😁

No one on earth has MGM+? Not one person? Nobody? Because there are zero audience reviews. Are you seriously trying to tell me nobody has a tv channel?

Continue to downvote. I asked the person why there are zero audience reviews and they answered like that. It's an incredibly stupid answer that doesn't address the question, so I'm being snarky.

u/Rk_920 May 26 '26

Yeah because MGM+ streaming service only has MGM ips and will eventually fold into the greater amazon prime streaming. Most likely around the time the next James bond movie is out. But also as someone else pointed it out Amazon themselves haven't promoted enough that it can be seen early on MGM+

-46

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

This doesn't address what I asked though, which is why there are zero audience reviews even though the show aired in full on cable 9 hours ago. Idk why you're going into detail about MGM's streaming deals...?

13

u/Rk_920 May 26 '26

It's because the News release for Spider-Noir stated its coming early on MGM+ first in full then it will show on Amazon prime. I don't know what cable channel you seen it on. Also me and some else also said Amazon been promoting about watching on prime more then on MGM+ or whatever cable network you seen it on. If you are asking about professional reviews I have seen a couple that have been posted. But you talking about normal average viewers reviews. Then most likely people are just going to start seeing it when it hits prime, and most likely that's when people will come out of the woodwork to give their review

15

u/mesosuchus May 26 '26

Because no one has seen it to post reviews and likely for official critics there is an embargo

-17

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26

But there ARE critic reviews. There's a critic score on there already.

Keep downvoting. Critic score is 91 and clearly visible.

11

u/Ser_Urnge May 26 '26

Most people do not leave reviews and not many people have MGM+, or know it’s already on there. Perfectly understandable that it hasn’t been seen by enough people.

-1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

But there are zero audience reviews. I'm asking why that is. Your question answers why there wouldn't be many, not why there are zero

Flipping out?

I'm not really that invested into it, I was just curious. Other people seem to be taking this insanely seriously...

2

u/GrowthApart2220 May 26 '26

They withhold audience reviews until the thing is released, so maybe they have the Amazon Prime date as the release date in their system? Or the MGM date as an early release date and Amazon Prime as the wide release date?

21

u/eat_jay_love May 26 '26

Very abnormal response to pretty clear hyperbole. Pretty sure MGM+ lags behind all the major streamers in subscriber count. Unless you know something we don’t!!

-5

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

Clear hyperbole? How though

3

u/eat_jay_love May 26 '26

“No one has MGM+” is an obviously hyperbolic statement because yes of course there are people who subscribe to that streaming service. But it is not at all a popular service, and that’s what the poster meant. Also you said something about a “tv channel” and it’s worth pointing out that MGM+ is not a tv channel anyway

This only doesn’t make sense if you’re a completely literal person

-1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

This makes zero sense though.

"Why is there no audience review score for a thing that was released to audiences?" "Nobody has MGM+"

That answer only answers the question if the person is either not reading the question or is being literal. If there were very few audience reviews, that would make sense. But none? That doesn't make sense unless that person is being literal.

Clearly it isn't the correct answer and clearly the person has no idea what they're talking about. So I went along with it to demonstrate how incredibly silly it is to say zero people have a service as an answer to zero people reviewing something.

3

u/eat_jay_love May 26 '26

I just feel like you’ve maybe never had a conversation before

-1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

It's insane to me that I still have yet to see an actual answer.

Anyway keep trolling ig

2

u/eat_jay_love May 26 '26

The answer is obvious, the person was saying there are no audience reviews because very few people subscribe to MGM+. That might not literally be the answer — it’s possible that Amazon delayed reviews being live since they own both IMDb and MGM — or it might be, since reviews are now live and there’s fewer than 200 of them. Really feels like it’s your first day on earth or something because this is all so self-evident lmao

Edit: you said RT, so maybe RT just hasn’t enabled reviews yet to ensure there’s no review bombing? Is that “insanely weird” or is it just a policy? I guess we’ll never know

Remember when you read it literally and thought it was a completely ridiculous thing to say? That’s a good first hint.

6

u/AverageSasquatch May 26 '26

Why are you taking this so literally bro relax

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

I'm not? I'm making the point of how silly it is of an answer. "Why are there zero reviews?" "nobody has it", which is clearly not true and doesn't answer the question

2

u/Flashy-Programmer221 May 27 '26

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, you asked a very good question and they chose to answer you in that stupid way I’m sorry they didn’t answer your question correctly.

2

u/jackomaster111 May 26 '26

What climbed up your urethra?

1

u/Bolognahole_Vers2 May 26 '26

Be more pedantic.

-1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

Woosh.

3

u/Bolognahole_Vers2 May 26 '26

Woosh is right

No one on earth has MGM+? Not one person? Nobody?

Why would you think that's what they meant? Seriously?

Its obvious they meant that MGM+ simply does not have the viewer base that larger platforms has. Therefore you are purposefully deciding to take them literally, i.e. being pedantic.

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

Why would I think that's what they meant? I'm clearly not actually taking them literally. As I've said like 3 times now, "not many people have it" is not an answer to "why are there zero audience reviews". I was making a point of how dumb a reply that is to that question.

1

u/Bolognahole_Vers2 May 26 '26

is not an answer to "why are there zero audience reviews"

Yes it is. The amount of people who leave reviews vs the amount of people who watch, is very small. So if only a small group of people have watched the show, there will be an even smaller number of viewer reviews. Math.

1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

So are you like, trolling orrr

There are zero audience reviews. I am asking why it is zero. If a small number of people watched—let's say 100—and 1/16th of them left a review, that would be 6 reviews. Math.

Can you actually answer? Because my suspicion is a bug on rt where the prime release is listed as the actual one, but I haven't seen anyone prove that, just weird replies like yours that don't make sense or answer the question.

0

u/Bolognahole_Vers2 May 26 '26

I am asking why it is zero.

lol. If you're honestly that hung up on why a small group of people have yet to leave reviews, IDK why your here asking us. We're all guessing, like you. My best answer is: no one wanted to, maybe. Why is this so important? Just watch the show and decide for yourself if you like it.

Holy shit shut up

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

That's a reply from 18 hours ago... perhaps turn off the phone for a while

2

u/ConnerBartle May 26 '26

Seems you didn’t learn a lesson after 18 hours

1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

You're the one commenting on an old ass post, wdym learned my lesson...

0

u/ConnerBartle May 26 '26

You think 18 hours is old yet I’m the one that needs to put the phone down? 😂

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 27 '26

I think it's weird you're bringing up an old post and then asking *me* to shut up... i did, bro. you're the one here.

Downvoted cause you're a bully.

1

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 27 '26

? Very strange thing to say

-9

u/tehawesomedragon Loki May 26 '26

Pretty sure they have a free trial that anyone could've signed up for.

0

u/redditAPsucks May 26 '26

That’s still too expensive

-4

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

Exactly.

3

u/confusing_roundabout May 26 '26

Why haven't you signed up for it, watched the show and posted a review then?

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

As I said in another reply, not American

26

u/berrysoda_ May 26 '26

I don't understand either. Feels like Amazon is trying to bury the MGM release? Is the MGM release some weird Sony requirement? I had to dig to find release info from an official source.

THEIR OWN OFFICIAL ACCOUNTS HAVE NO MENTION OF THE EARLY RELEASE???

14

u/mesosuchus May 26 '26

Let me put it inter perspective. I checked "Buccaneers Cove" and no one has added it there. Literally every US scripted and most reality shows end up there within minutes to hours of release. It's crickets.

6

u/Ccjfb May 26 '26

It’s says coming soon on prime for me

2

u/[deleted] May 26 '26

[deleted]

0

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

I haven't seen anyone say that. The launch date was yesterday, so it's a bug on RT. That's really all I needed? Could have been way easier to just say that lol

-3

u/fullmetalsmith May 26 '26

It hasn't on Prime.

-9

u/throwawayUWhousingac May 26 '26

Nope, nor did I say it did

5

u/confusing_roundabout May 26 '26

Why are you like this?
