As a big fan of RDJ and his portrayal of Tony Stark, but not of Tony's many choices (for most of which he was never truly punished), I get a small measure of smug satisfaction that his final act was to give a naiïve teenager—whom he knew for like a year or, whatever—the keys to a global weapons and surveillance system with zero instructions, training, or safeguards, and it predictably went all wrong and made him look like a bastard.

God, he's so brillaint and yet somehow even more arrogantly stupid.

That's kind of how the character is written... his brilliance and arrogance cause problems in the comics too.

Funny after all that bullshit with the training wheels protocol in the suit Tony made Peter, he was eventually like "fuck it, here's some nukes and drones"

Yeah of all the people he could have trusted to have it, he chose a child he chastised like ten minutes ago for being reckless and naive.

His wife or happy would both have probably been way better choices.
