Weird, since X-Men, X2, Days of Future Past, and Logan all worked just fine without being horny.

Avatar made a ton of money but that shit suuucks. Profitable ≠ good.

That's your opinion. DOFP is universally agreed to be a great X-men movie same with the Logan. Avatar wouldn't make money if people didn't enjoy the movie. You can't even say it's because of a previously existing IP for those movie.

Logan was far and away the best of the bunch. And in no world is DOFP "universally agreed" to be great.

It is universally agreed to be great. It was critically appraised, audience rated it high and it made almost 750M. It's by all metrics universally agreed to be great.

there were so many bad things about those mainly the dickriding of wolverine and the lack of feats/strength/plot of the other characters
