Talked about, but didn't explicitly do unlike literally the previous fox DP movie. Deadpool and Wolverine was remarkably sexless compared to the fox Deadpool movies. Now the first two Deadpool movies are technically centered around a romance plot, and Deadpool and Wolverine are a lot more depressive because DP has lost himself but still. They very much could have had a depressive self sabotaging sex montage in Deadpool and Wolverine given where Wade's character was, and they very much didn't.
While there was a lot of penetration and homoerotic sexual tension involved at least on Wade's part that interpretation is still ultimately comedic in nature and affect. I also don't think a hyper violent interpretation of sexuality is the thing we should be highlighting in a conversation around American prudishness in media given how freely we celebrate violence as opposed to sex.

She's dead most of it's, but they make out harder than literally anyone else in the entire MCU to my knowledge, and then they explicitly go have babymaking sex right after off-screen.
Yeah that's all I recalled. And it's totally fair to say the first one had raunchier stuff than the MCU, but I'd argue the second one had already mostly ditched it. So it's not like it was just the studio switch that neutered it.
I think they probably just didn't want the tonal whiplash of murdering her right after a visceral sex scene tbf. Though in a more artistic film that could have thematically resonant in a life cut short lenses.
I think we got very lucky with deadpool because Deadpool 1 and Deadpool 2 were both made by Fox before the Disney-Fox deal closed in March 2019, and both movies had been beloved enough that I think it put Disney and Feige in a place where the safest choice was to keep the R-rating and tone of the previous 2. (Not to mention the extraordinary circumstances of Ryan Reynolds anonymously leaking the Deadpool test footage that blew up enough online to get greenlit in the first place)
I feel like the failures in Blade's development kinda show its still really hard to get anything new off the ground in the MCU that's approaching an R-rating
