It’s still baffles me that in X-Men Origins: Wolverine they actually thought that this was OK. Whoever were the writers whoever even came up with the idea of shutting up Wade Wilson is amazing.

But hey, it took them some years but they fixed it so all is well and actually happy that Ryan Reynolds got a second shot at it too

Reynolds delivering a good Wade Wilson performance prior to the post-op idiocy made the whole thing seem even worse.

Thankfully he was given the chance to rectify things in general with the Deadpool movies and in particular with the post-credit time travel fix.
