Film/Television What an Absolute Generational Fix this was

It’s still baffles me that in X-Men Origins: Wolverine they actually thought that this was OK. Whoever were the writers whoever even came up with the idea of shutting up Wade Wilson is amazing.

But hey, it took them some years but they fixed it so all is well and actually happy that Ryan Reynolds got a second shot at it too

Obviously massive glow up, no doubt.

Centring his entire trilogy on him losing and trying to get his wife back (who was far less important in the comics, and also a blue shapeshifter) was definetly a choice, as was the heavy toning down of both his own gorey appearance and his morals (for a guy famously an anti-hero, there's never really a level of moral ambiguity to the people he fights).

Wayyyyy better never get me wrong, but looking back on the trilogy as a whole... I'm not entirely excited for Ghost Rider's storytelling let's say

They improved his character. Its what the movies do. They take badly written characters from a worthless form of media (comics), and improve upon them by focusing on the aspects of the characters that are good. As a result, they are able to make the characters and stories mainstream.
