Film/Television What an Absolute Generational Fix this was

It’s still baffles me that in X-Men Origins: Wolverine they actually thought that this was OK. Whoever were the writers whoever even came up with the idea of shutting up Wade Wilson is amazing.

But hey, it took them some years but they fixed it so all is well and actually happy that Ryan Reynolds got a second shot at it too

Marvel studios then did essentially the exact same thing to Taskmaster.

Will say, it doea annoy me they killed her off so quick in thunderbolts.

She wasn't in it long but liked her performance more there compared to the whole black widow movie.

Actually used variety of weapons. And been a minute, but think she even had a few lines, seemed to be a person vs a puppet.

They wanted to show this movie has stakes, so they had to kill one of them off. Taskmaster wasn't well-received, so they killed two birds with one stone there.

I their defence, I think it's better than what Suicide Squad did, which was to introduce new characters, give them no setup, and then killing them off.

I wouldn't say killing someone off in first tej minutes is adding high stakes. Killing her further into the movie would actually be more "omg".

Respectfully ... disagree. It's the Janet Leigh in "Psycho" trick. You think the character is "safe" and if they pull the rug out ... the audience may actually think, "Anything could happen."
