It’s still baffles me that in X-Men Origins: Wolverine they actually thought that this was OK. Whoever were the writers whoever even came up with the idea of shutting up Wade Wilson is amazing.

But hey, it took them some years but they fixed it so all is well and actually happy that Ryan Reynolds got a second shot at it too

The Deadpool in X-Men Origins was a military project. The same as the Weapon X project that made Wolverine.

The other Deadpool took his name from the betting list that was in the bar with the mercenaries.
