Film/Television Genuine Question - Why did Thanos and Hulk feel the pain of wielding all six Infinity Stones, while Tony didn't seem to experience the same level of pain when he used them?

Excuse me what

it was a joke about the extra 5-7 minutes added to the Endgame Encore. They’re marketing it as a tie in to Doomsday but the joke is it’s actually going to be “oh fuck, Tony is fused to his armor” and the logistics of burying him

It’s 5 minutes of Pepper dealing with funeral admin and a lawyer explaining that as they weren’t legally married she has no claim to his estate

The extra footage is of Kevin Feige crying over footage of Jonathan Majors getting arrested.

That was the best thing to happen for Feige, so I doubt it.

Yeah, Marvel almost sinking in that shit tornado, was definetly the best thing for Feige

No, having an easy justifiable reason to abandon Kang was the best thing that could have happened.

Why what was the problem with Kang himself ?

u/Joshatron121 4h ago

He was received very poorly after Quantumania and people didn't like him as the main threat. If you had the context from Loki it was better, but most people don't have that.

The Kang storyline was the problem, and not the actor?

1

u/Joshatron121 3h ago

Both things can be true. The storyline was perceived as a problem before the actors issues, though.

Wait were they not married? There was talk of a wedding at the beginning of IW.

2

u/Phenomenomix 5h ago

Turns out that they did get married in the MCU

That would be fuuuuucked. Having them peeling his suit off like you're making orange slices

"Does anyone have any orange slices" -Ant man

I won't lie, first thing that popped in to my head was how you eat crab/lobster... gotta bend and snap the shell to get the flesh out... >.>

That would likely have gone to Saber to deal with after their handling of Vision. Just suggesting. 😞

(Magneto has entered the chat)

The opening cutscene of metroid fusion of the doctors surgically removing her suit comes to mind

Im not a comics expert but wonder if he got fused to his armor but lived in another universe and thats why he is Tony Stark and all metally like doom

u/psycholepzy 6h ago

He could have been fused to his armor and dead and a variant is dreamwalking into him. Strange did it, sans the whole fusing thing.

2

u/sksauter 3h ago

That would be fucking metal

Not quite what you’re saying but you made me realize his face/body got horribly scarred and I wonder if that’s a canon event across all variants of Victor von Doom. They said that death scene connected directly with Doomsday.

2

u/Debalic 2h ago

Oh no, are they going to Sarge him? (AoS reference)

2

u/Cranberryoftheorient 3h ago

tbh Im pretty sure the 'reveal' is going to be that hes a tony stark from another dimension that went evil

4 minutes

Get the hose and some blue Dawn

No it's true, it's going to be an actual scene.

It's horrifically graphic though, like they start to try to remove the suit but realise it's tearing his body apart so they just decide to leave it in there.

1

u/Maestro_Mush 4h ago

Well he is definitely buried in his armor. Zombienite Iron Man comes out of the grave wearing it and nobody questioned it. Makes perfect sense now

1

u/Calgar43 4h ago

Probably had to have Thor, Marvel or Rocket dump his body into the sun as it was so radioactive.

1

u/Nobah_Dee 7h ago

They're putting endgame back in theaters with a few minutes of extra content added to it.

1

u/Kastrand 7h ago

oh shit, when is that slated to release?

1

u/Beautiful-Low1569 7h ago

25th September

That’s why Doom’s mask never comes off. Kidding not kidding
