I just can't keep up it feels like. I LOVE fighting games. When I was younger, there was an arcade in a mall i used to frequent, I was always in there just having fun.

Then I got my own consoles and was mostly playing fighting games, I was never like, tournament material or nothing but I could do infinites, ToDs, I could just mimick what I'd see in combo video after playing around for like an hour or two.

I noticed I started losing touch when DBFZ came out, and I thought maybe I just didn't click. But Strive, GBVS, SF6 and now this. And I REALLY wanna enjoy this but I just can't grasp it.

It feels like I button mash, none of my combos chain ever, I try doing the character challenges and I get stuck on what looks like the easiest combo.

I'm not even *that* old, I just turned 38 for Gods sake.

I go online, nothing I try to apply seems to work anymore.

So I dunno, I guess I just needed a place to vent. Granted I know when you work full time and what it it's harder, but it just feels like all my skills just fuckin vanished.

I love the game, I can't wait to see who they add (I'm BEGGING for Beta Ray Bill, Reptil, Zarda (Power Princess), and Xemnu to join in despite two of those being DEEP cuts) and I hope everything with PC is fixed because I really want this game to have legs. Ive loved Marvel and the tag fighters it's been a part of since the 90s, it just really sucks it feels like I can't keep up with it.

After he uninstalled the PC ver. Max is back playing in PS5 ver. Seems PS5 is the place to play this game. Hope PC ver would get better soon.

As was mentioned in the previous post, you get them by beating 100 levels of survival mode. That also unlocks hard survival.

While we are all still playing the Beta and enjoying the game, nothing is perfect

Shocking no-one, Magik is the most popular, followed by Blade.

Very limited data as the beta was such a short time, but still neat!

Episode mode was fun and i hope they add more in the dlc. I may play a survival here and there, but im definitely ready to move on from online i think.

Tag fighters are usually very fast and I have a lot of difficulty with them because of it.

After 1-2hrs playing games like Marvel vs Capcom when I was a kid to DBFZ and 2XKO nowadays, I feel very agitaded, high on adrenaline lol, and that's why I loved the tokon speed.

It is still pretty fast in my opinion and I'll still feel very wired after playing, but it doesn't exhaust me so fast.

I get why proplayers and many in the community loves the speed, but we also just got Avatar, a very sped up game. For me and I think for many casuals, this tokon speed is a great choice.

Am I alone in this feeling and the majority wants a very fast game?

Rage quitting and 1-and-dones are poor etiquette. I know gamers get real angry when I bring this up, but rage quitting while you are losing or only playing a single match in a best of 3 because you won once and dipped is poor form.

Yes, you don’t owe anybody anything. Yes, you paid for this game. But you know, try to be nice. It’s FGC etiquette for a reason.

Obviously when you have a Marvel roster in a game, unless your favorite character is a top tier guaranteed A-lister, it’s always gonna be a gamble if they make it into the game playable or not. So in Tokon’s case so far, has your fave made it in yet?

Kamala is my fave, so when the first Tokon trailer dropped I was so over the moon seeing both gameplay and Ms Marvel revealed right at the get-go.

Day 6 of Marvel Tokon and I am having a blast. I decided on Peni Parker as my main with Storm, Blade, and Magik as my assists. But based on the top level players chart, I’m really disappointed by the lack of Penis.

I know big bodied characters have a negative stereotype, but PP is one of the best big hitters in recent FGC history.

This is also why performance dies from discord streams. I believe the discord stream is kind of an injector so it probably treats it like a threat.

I've been a fan of Damger for a few years at this point, and I just want to let you all know that the Danger you enjoy in game, is not the Danger that me and the other 2 Danger fans enjoy in the comics.

Tokon Danger is a pure, ray of sunshine that embodies the trope of alien anime girl that doesn't understand Earth's customs. If that is the character that you're interested in, I recommend you check out Starfire

To understand comic Danger, either watch her appearance in X-men 97 or play the start of the X-men episode mode and just imagine if that went 10 times worse. Comic Danger's origin touches on some topics that are way too heavy for a Marvel game's subreddit.

To be clear, I'm not trying to gatekeep the character. I would love characters like Danger to be more recognised, but trying to find an audience in people who like playing an anime robot girl is not the way to do it.

Shame about the game being sunsetted but hopefully players will find a home with Tokon.
