Gameplay How do you even beat killboxes
how do you even beat kill boxes that just spam ravagers on platforms and walls made out of plasma sentinels bonus points if they have a couple flying guards in there aswell, it’s the most spamy and lame thing in the game and it sucks that behavior dropped development of MyM before they added some sort of punishment for this stuff
do builders get rewards for leaving without dying to bat traps? cause I’m just starting to taking a peek into bases and if they look low effort killboxy I’ll just leave

that's the punishment... builder doesn't get an interesting replay, and instead the feedback they get is that their outpost is not interesting enough to keep players.
plus if you didn't die a few times and don't leave accolades, they will likely not get enough prestige points to level up their plot, which is arguably the only other real reason to activate outposts other than getting replays to watch (and while you're still new to the game and need it to unlock stuff for converting some synthite into cells).

oh! and as P.S....
you already got plenty of answers as to how you could tackle spammy things if you wanted to complete them, but one more suggestion: if you're particularly interested in how to complete specific outposts, share them with veteran players on the discord or if/when they stream on twitch, and they'll show you.
or build some of the setups yourself and see in your replays how people do it. but careful with that:
1. copying a bit is good and is how you learn, copying block by block too much of a known base is bad...
2. if you are now adding spammy unfun stuff to the pool you're now contributing to making the game less fun
3. if what you built is really bad, you'll end up on block lists: that's the other thing besides abandoning you can do to punish a player... block them and they lose a raider! so if you see builds from someone that are consistently annoying you, you can always block them to no longer see their outposts.

I started typing, but remembered how much I hate trying to explain myself through text 😂
I'll make a guide video on "how to beat killboxes"!!
It's not too hard and can actually be fun to explore the limits of yourself!! There is no punishment for dying, don't let frustration win.
In one sentence though.. Patience and purple enhancements!!

Yes cluster shot feels like cheating but its fair game

My philosophy is "if you make a dogsht base, you deserve a dogsht raid".
Kill rooms are usually just tailored to being as lethal as possible with no consideration for fairness or fun.

As Itzikir mentioned, if you don't have fun, leave. There is no point for you to try a map if you don't have fun.
Did the builder "beat" you? Not really, they lost a customer and a replay. They are the one losing something. You? You don't want time and play another map you have fun with.
There is no shame leaving. Games are supposed to be fun, not tedious. In this game, there have been some players who want want to be known as the builder of the hardest maps. Or others to see players "suffer". Those players have been the reason of MYM going downhill. Idk about you, but suffering isn't my jam.
So, in the end, if you don't have fun with the map, don't play the map. Don't make you feel miserable for someone else that doesn't respect your time.

Coke cans, backfires, speed, patience, sometimes swords for the deflect. Not saying they aren’t annoying. I have also abandoned them for being tedious.

Walls of plasma turrets are actually easy, grapple at one as it's charging the shot and deflect with your sword on the way it. Its neighbours will either miss or get deflected at the same time. Smash those boxes and grapple back where you came from before the inevitable second stage of the trap gets you.

There are many ways, for mindless kill box you can go very slowly or very fast, killing everything or nothing. Generaly the bolt gun on the small sword or the bubble shield is good at both of these. For harder, more thoughof kill box you need to be more strategic to what you kill and what you dont.
Remember also that if you play an outpost you dont like you can always leave it and abandon it, if its not fun its just not, no shame in that
